Hela took a lot of aspects from the members of Thor’s rogues gallery when she was adapted from the comics for the MCU. One such character was Gorr the God Butcher, who would retroactively be revealed as having a connection with Knull, The God of the Symbiotes.

Given that Hela’s weaponry and clothes were very reminiscent of a symbiote, there is a very strong possibility that Knull might have had a connection with the character. Her weapons were also very much reminiscent of Knull’s famed weapon, The Necrosword, which made an appearance later, in Thor: Love and Thunder.

One of the many rules of any fictional story is that if a character is truly dead, audiences need to see a body. This was not necessarily the case with Hela, who audiences last saw being smashed into the waters of Asgard by Sutur and his Twilight sword.

With the introduction of Knull, who definitely qualifies to be a multiversal being in the shared Marvel-Sony-Fox multiverse. This would allow the character to not only have had a hand in Gorr’s roaring rampage of revenge against the gods but also bring back some of the strongest villains each Avenger faced to fight them as he enacts his plan for multiverse domination.

Hela has been one of the few characters in the MCU that heroes have had a tough time defeating, eventually being incapacitated by Surtur. Knull could use the character, who is no doubt in one of the afterlives of Norse mythology, as one of his minions, and use her to subdue some of the strongest Avengers like The Hulk, Thor, and Captain Marvel.

Before Knull embarks on his multiversal conquest, it might help the character to limit the area that he has to conquer. This would mean Knull would first have to come to blows with Loki, who is making sure that timelines are actually growing and being sustained.

Further, Given that Knull created the blades to fight and kill a Celestial, Arishem and his ilk might not be taking very kindly to Knull’s presence in any Universe, likely mobilizing the Eternals and hunting and destroy him, if they didn’t do so himself.

Further, Thor might be looking to settle the score with Knull, given that the cosmic symbiote was partially responsible for the death of Natalie Portman‘s Jane Foster. While the God of Thunder might be more curious when engaging with Knull, his love for Jane Foster could be the reason he decides to fight and slay Knull.
