The driver sped away from police, crashing through a fence. Officers did not give chase “due to the reckless driving of the suspect vehicle,” said police in a news release.
The vehicle headed north and crashed into two cars at the intersection of Vedder Way and Marshall Road, about 700 metres away. The occupants of the bystander vehicles were not injured, said police.
The suspects fled on foot, but were found and arrested with the assistance of the canine squad. They remain in custody.
