The Lotto Max jackpot for the next draw has hit $80 million for the first time.

The B.C. Lottery Corp. announced increases to its maximum jackpots last week, with Friday night’s draw rising to a then-record $75 million.

When that went unclaimed, it ticked up another $5 million to $80 million — the largest single prize in Canadian history — for Tuesday night’s draw.
