Travis Kelce is being mocked for his outfit on his latest date with Taylor Swift: 'Why is he Santa Claus?'

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been spending plenty of time together recently, but the Kansas City Chiefs star is attracting some unwanted attention because of it.

The two stepped out to the exclusive members club Chez Margaux in the Meatpacking District to celebrate the birthday of Swift's friend Ashley Avignone on Saturday.

Swift impressed in her black minidress that had a hem that stopped inches above her knees, with a long, black coat with sparkling, silver embellishments on top.

As for Kelce, the Chiefs star wore a red, denim jacket that was unbuttoned in the front, along with a pair of matching, loose-fitting pants. He also wore a printed, whiter shirt and a pair of black shoes

Fans question Kelce's attire

Unsurprisingly, Swifties online had a lot to say on the couple with many questioning Kelce's outfit choice.

Many of them compared Travis's look to that of Santa Claus, a timely comparison given the time of the year.

"Just thought Travis was in a Santa suit and I'm like if we find out these mfers were able to blend in santa undercover at Santa Con this is like the perfect scene for the next hallmark movie," wrote one fan on X.

Another wrote: "Why is travis kelce santa claus."

A third added: "Why is travis kelce dressed like a hip santa clause."

One fan pointed to the contrast between Kelce and Swift, writing: "Taylor looks ethereal then you have travis in this santa claus a** outfit."

"Convince me Travis and Taylor aren't really Santa and Mrs. Claus," wrote another Swift.

Swift and Kelce's outing came a day after the two were spotted on a date in Manhattan. They were joined by Jack Antonoff and his wife, Margaret Qualley, for the occasion.
