The Chrisleys are back on the wrong side of the law after Julie and Todd Chrisley's oldest son Chase was arrested on Thursday, January 9.
The "Growing Up Chrisley" star got into trouble for allegedly attacking a bar manager in Georgia earlier this week. The 911 audio recording captured the victim asking for help with an alleged inebriated Chase in the background.
The misdemeanor incident occurred three years after Todd and Julie Chrisley made headlines for federal bank and tax fraud offenses. The famous couple were convicted for their crimes and sentenced to several years in prison, leaving behind their children.

Todd Chrisley's Son Allegedly Slapped A Bar Manager
Chase's troubles began on Monday when he visited the "Twin Peaks" bar and became a nuisance under the influence of alcohol. The 911 audio recording captured the establishment's manager, Brendon Nash, asking the dispatcher for police assistance while warning someone not to approach them.
The culprit, presumably Chase, was repeatedly warned not to touch the bar manager. Nash alleged he had been assaulted earlier with a chair, describing the media personality as drunk and aggressive. His words seemed to have upset the Chrisley ward, who slapped him moments later.
Chase left the bar before authorities arrived; however, they caught him on Thursday and booked him for simple battery at the Fulton County Jail. TMZ shared that he posed for a mug shot and was released on a $10,000 bond.

Chase Chrisley Fondly Remembered His Father Amid His Incarceration
Two years before the battery incident, Chase opened up about missing his convicted father in a throwback post. The Blast shared in September 2023 that he dropped an old Polaroid snap of Todd as a child on his Instagram Story.
The picture was creased and torn at the edges, showing the wear of time with its grainy appearance. It featured a Christmas party with young children, including Todd, who donned a red sweater and jeans beside a man dressed as Santa Claus.
"Missing you pops, @toddchrisley," Chase captioned the post. His father and mother received a joint 19-year prison sentence for their crimes and were months into their jail term when their oldest son dropped the throwback post.

The Doting Son Claimed His Parents Were Living Under Deplorable Prison Conditions
In a May 2023 episode of the "Chasin' Birdies" podcast, Chase addressed the alleged deplorable prison conditions his parents were under. He noted the public lacked sympathy for Todd and Julie, as many acted like they were living in a country club.
"They got like black mold [where my dad is], and my mom's place is even worse. I mean, she doesn't even have air conditioning. They're in a camp. It's better than being behind a wall," Chase lamented. He also slammed the legal system for failing his family, saying:
"Our system's so broken, but that's not new. I mean, there are so many both wrongly convicted people sitting in prison and don't have the resources to fight."

The Chrisleys Announced Their Return To Reality TV
Todd and Julie's conviction significantly changed the Chrisley family dynamic, and Chase revealed in August 2023 that an upcoming reality TV show would capture all the drama. The program marked the family's return to reality TV following the cancelation of their USA Network shows.
"What we're not going to do is lay down and back down to anybody, and we will air it out," Chase said about the show's content. He noted people had been trying to tell their story since the fraud scandal. However, the Chrisleys would share the truth in their own words.
When asked if he or his siblings were worried about broadcasting their family's legal situation, Chase said, "I'm sure you're aware no one in my family has a filter, so we could give a s—t less what anybody has to say or think."

Chase Chrisley Addressed His Broken Engagement To Emmy Medders
Following his parents' fraud scandal, Chase made waves by ending his engagement to Emmy Medders. The Blast reported that the pair broke up nine months after the media personality proposed in October 2022.
Chase popped the big question a few months after he and Medders reconciled following their 2021 split. He confirmed the end of their engagement on a July 2023 Instagram Story post, partly writing, "We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately."
A month later, Chase reflected on the breakup as divine intervention, saying, "Everything happens for a reason. God's got a plan. And I think God heard conversations that I didn't hear. He saw things I didn't see and moved her on her way, and I could not be more thankful."
How will Todd and Julie Chrisley react to Chase's battery incident?
