After his classy brace for Switzerland against Bosnia & Herzegovina tonight, Thomas Müller has recommended Johan Manzambi as a candidate for Bayern Munich to explore.

“Manzambi is a good player overall," the former Bayern star said on Magenta TV after the Swiss secured an important 4-1 win in Group B of the 2026 World Cup.

“For me, he's someone – and now we can make a headline – For me, he's someone that FC Bayern should take a close look at,” he added, before underlining Manzambi's flexibility.

“He's a player who can play as a number 6, he can play as a number 8, he can play as a number 10. He has the number 9 on his back, so maybe we can also sell him as a striker,” he said.

The SC Freiburg talent has been heavily linked with a move away from the Breisgauers this summer. The player himself even admitted his future is up in the air since as far back as May.

Whether Bayern would make a move for him is unknown given they are close to signing Ismael Saibari. Otherwise, Italian giants SSC Napoli are keen on the 20-year-old star
