Players are glad that Arrowhead is finally acknowledging their feedback and improving fan-favorite items. Earlier this year, the Helldivers 2 community was also introduced to an alternate version of the Jump Pack called the Dark Fluid vessel jump-packs. Players wanted the studio to improve the regular Jump Packs like those exclusive jump packs, however, Arrowhead never acknowledged this. Hopefully, this time, we can expect a buff like that.

The long-awaited patch 01.001.100 for Helldivers 2 was rolled out on 17th September and it’s safe to say that it was well-received by the fans. To sum things up, Arrowhead reworked anti-tank, armor penetration, health, and armor values, and rebalanced popular weapons, and stratagems. Enemies, Helldiver health, damage mechanics, and gas, have also been tweaked. The update also added a new Galactic War feature, emote wheel feature, and fixed many bugs.

Helldivers 2 was released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8 February 2024 and it quickly became one of the most popular games in the world. Lately, the game has been losing players at an alarming rate.

This patch is a part of Arrowhead’s 60-day plan to completely overhaul the game using players’ feedback. The patch was enough to convince many players to return to the game after months, so it seems like Arrowhead is heading in the right direction for now. As Pilestedt confirmed, fans can expect more patches in the future that will improve fan-favorite Stratagems and weapons.
