The official cause of Liam Payne's death revealed after investigation in UK

The death of Liam Payne, which shook the artistic world, fans of the group One Direction and his friends and family, is about to have closure for his loved ones, after falling from the third floor balcony of the hotel where he was staying in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Following an investigation, it was confirmed that at least four supplies of narcotics were consumed during the musician's stay at the hotel, while the autopsy revealed that his death was caused by "multiple injuries" and "internal and external bleeding" as a result of the fall from the balcony.

Self-inflicted injuries or physical intervention by third parties were ruled out and it was concluded that he did not protect himself in the fall, so it was inferred that "he may have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness."

Investigation in the UK confirms cause of death of Liam Payne

According to information from RadarOnline.com, an investigation in the United Kingdom conducted by Dr. Roberto Victor Cohen confirmed the medical cause of death revealed in the autopsy.

A hearing was held on Wednesday in which findings were revealed and Payne was able to be identified "with the help of funeral directors in Buckinghamshire, England".

"While there is an ongoing investigation in Argentina into the circumstances of Liam's death, over which I have no legal jurisdiction, it is anticipated that obtaining the relevant information to particularly address how Liam came to his death may take some time through the formal Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office channel," senior coroner Crispin Butler said during the hearing.

In Argentina, the case is still being thoroughly investigated and before the end of 2024, five suspects who were involved in the death of Liam Payne were arrested and last Friday the arrest warrant against Braian Paiz was executed for allegedly supplying drugs for a fee.
