Taylor Swift Favorite Christmas Movie Brutally Reviewed by Travis Kelce

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce didn't hold back in a humorous critique of his girlfriend Taylor Swift's favorite holiday movie, the 2003 romantic comedy Love Actually.

While the movie has long been a holiday favorite for many, Kelce's light-hearted review during the latest episode of his New Heights podcast brought a different perspective.

"Love Actually," featuring an all-star British cast including Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson and Keira Knightley, is widely regarded as a heartwarming celebration of love and Christmas. But Kelce, known for his charisma both on and off the field, wasn't entirely sold on its charm.

"What's crazy," Kelce remarked during the podcast, "is that all of these stories tie together in one community, and it's supposed to make it look like this is what happens. Like, this is what's going on around you."

While acknowledging the movie's interconnected plot as "fun," Kelce admitted he struggled to relate to any of the characters. For someone who thrives in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment like the NFL, Kelce's reality might not align with the whimsical, often improbable romance of Love Actually.

Kelce jokingly dismissed the idea that he could find common ground with the characters, though he might want to revisit Liam Neeson's storyline. In the film, Neeson plays a grieving widower who finds love again, a character arc that showcases vulnerability and heart.

Chiefs take center stage

While Kelce poked fun at the holiday movie, his focus quickly shifted back to business. The Chiefs are slated for a Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a pivotal match as Kansas City seeks to lock up a 15-1 record and the No. 1 playoff seed.
