Sunny Hostin reportedly asked cops if they knew who she was when her son, Gabriel, was hit with a trespassing violation in New York last month.

“The View” co-host — a former federal prosecutor and lawyer — spoke to officers on the scene over the phone after Gabriel, 24, was caught jogging along MTA tracks and ignoring “no trespassing” signs, according to The New York Post.

“They were just talking to the kid because he was trespassing, but his mother made it an issue,” one source told the outlet. “She wanted to know why he was stopped and why did they talk to him.”

Hostin, 57, allegedly asked the officers if they knew who she was before name-dropping “The View.”

“She said I am Sunny Hostin, I am on ‘The View,’” a source claimed.

She declined to comment Monday when The Post reached her by phone.

According to court records, Gabriel was stopped on June 16 near 24 Station Plaza in New Rochelle, New York, after he was spotted “on the right-of-way of the active railroad tracks, in violation of the posted no trespassing signs.”

Ahead of his scheduled court appearance on July 31, Hostin wrote a letter to the D.A. asking the case to be dismissed. She named herself as her son’s lawyer.

“My client is a 2025 Harvard University graduate with no criminal history or prior contact with the criminal justice system,” the television personality wrote in a court letter obtained by TMZ. “He is an avid runner and former Junior Olympian track athlete who was in the area training.”

According to Hostin, the “no trespassing” sign on the gate at the entrance wasn’t visible to him at the time since it was left open.

“He reasonably believed the area was accessible and had no intention of entering private property unlawfully,” she wrote.
