Stuttgart handed injury blow ahead of Köln clash

Tiago Tomás has suffered an injury and is expected to remain unavailable for VfB Stuttgart until after the international break.

VfB Stuttgart will have to manage without Tiago Tomás in the coming weeks.

As head coach Sebastian Hoeneß revealed at a press conference on Thursday, the winger is set for a spell on the sidelines.

“Tiago suffered a minor muscle injury in training yesterday,” Hoeneß said ahead of Friday’s Bundesliga clash with 1. FC Köln.

“He will probably be back after the international break,” Hoeneß added.

Tomás started Stuttgart’s first two competitive games of the 2026/27 season.
