She pointed out to The Irish Star that the pair were initially enjoying their outing together.
“For much of this appearance, the Trumps’ body language resembled that of a Kardashian on a date night, with fond smiles… Melania was beaming and extremely animated, probably because this sporting event is one where she attends as a knowledgeable, long-term fan,” she said.
James then noted there was a shift in their dynamic. She said, “Her smile has vanished in this clip though, and her behavior suggests she’s keen to make a serious point to her husband.”
She added that the first lady appeared “serious and assertive” while Trump nodded and “performed a mouth shrug to suggest agreement.”
