Someone once asked Speedy Morman on X, “What would you label your occupation as? Reporter, personality, influencer?” Morman replied with his favorite pet name: “stink.” Don’t let his goofy nature fool you, though; Morman’s standing within the changing media landscape is a reflection of hard work. The 32-year-old has spent over a decade building a digital audience of 2 million followers and a career in which he is all of the above, driven by his comedic charm and deep understanding of pop culture and its ever-changing frontrunners. After a run at Complex hosting the talk show 360 With Speedy, Morman announced his exit from the publication in April to establish full independence. One week later, he joined Kevin Durant’s sports-entertainment hub Boardroom as an on-air host and executive producer. In addition to his content commitments, he’ll also serve as a strategic advisor for the brand, joining Taylor Rooks, Michael Strahan, Mark Ronson, and more.
