Last month, Capcom announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, a remake of the original Dead Rising that was released on Xbox 360 in 2006. The game is all set to release later this year and as we approach the release date, more and more information about the game has come forward.
Various aspects of the game have created a lot of anticipation within the community, but the gore system, in particular, has impressed the community. The system was already so good but the sword gameplay takes things to the next level. Judging by the early footage, it seems like Capcom has spent a lot of time perfecting the game for diehard Dead Rising fans.
Fans Love The Gore System In Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
An account on X called Stip0_ has shared some interesting gameplay from Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Recorded by External_03, the footage showcases sword gameplay and fans couldn’t help but notice how perfect the gore system is.
So freaking cool, really hoping we can control the corpse and decal density to max it out.
— John (@zonefps) August 24, 2024Capcom has really focused on the small details for the remaster. This will certainly take the gaming experience to the next level. Not just the visuals, but fans also love the sounds, this just shows how much effort Capcom has put into the game.
Indeed, the gore system is amazing, but some people have complained about the sudden despawn of the corpse. Capcom probably took this decision to ensure the game doesn’t slow down. It is to be noted that the game is still one month away, so fans can expect to see some changes in the final version.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released on 19th September 2024
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will make sure that players experience the true element of the original game but in a completely new way, with realistic graphics, improved playability, and 3D audio. Not just improvements but the game also added a few features to the game such as NPC voice lines and an autosave feature.
Two versions can be pre-ordered right now: Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition, priced at $49.99 and $59.99 respectively. The Digital Deluxe Edition contains costumes for Frank and background music that can be played in the Willamette Parkview Mall.
The digital game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on 19th September 2024 while the physical version will be released in November 2024.
2006’s Dead Rising has a huge fanbase but as the series progressed, it started to lose its charm. Due to the poor reception of the 4th Dead Rising game in 2016, the next game in the series was canceled.
The announcement has indeed revived the franchise’s hype once again but will Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster meet the set expectations? Share your views in the comments!
