“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul is afraid of watching her life play back on Hulu’s hit reality show.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the TikTok influencer-turned-TV star, 30, explains that she hasn’t binged the series yet because of its potential impact on her relationship with boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
“I can be triggered easily,” admits Paul, who is particularly fearful that a “whole therapy session” — during which she expressed “lots of emotions” while discussing her then-tumultuous dynamic with Mortensen — is part of the final edit.
“There’s so much that’s cut out so maybe it’s not even in there,” she adds. “But in my head, I’m, like, scared to watch that again.”
“Mormon Wives” follows the ups and downs of Paul’s romance with Mortensen as they prepare for the birth of their son, Ever True, whom they welcomed in March.
In the premiere episode, Paul’s February 2023 arrest for charges including assault and committing domestic violence with a child present is covered.
When cameras picked back up 11 months later, she and Mortensen discovered they were expecting a child — but their volatile communication style only got worse.
In the Season 1 finale, though, Paul acknowledges that Mortensen stepped up to the plate as a parent, facilitating space for her to fall deeper in love with him and put more effort into making their relationship work.

When the Utah resident visited New York City for a “Mormon Wives” press trip this week, Mortensen came along as well and cared for Ever True as she promoted the unscripted project.
The mom of three — who shares daughter Indy, 7, and son Ocean, 4, with ex-husband Tate Paul — tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she plans on watching once when she can fully focus.
“I split my kids [with Tate]… obviously 50/50 and [when] we got back into town [from a press trip in Los Angeles], I had my little time with them and then we left yesterday [for New York City],” she says of her busy schedule after the show started streaming Sept. 6.
“So I just chose to spend it with them and not watch it. I really want to be focused in, though, and not have … being a mom [to distract me] … I want to watch it and listen.”
Taylor — credited as the creator of #MomTok, the social circle that “Mormon Wives” centers on — rose to new heights of fame in 2022 after she released a headline-making TikTok Live, confessing that she and her former spouse were involved in a “soft-swinging” sex scandal with fellow Mormon couples.
Her castmates — including Mayci Neeley, Whitney Leavitt, Jennifer Affleck, Layla Taylor, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews and Demi Engemann — have denied participating.
