Borussia Dortmund's Nico Schlotterbeck, alongside Felix Nmecha, is part of Real Madrid’s transfer shortlist this summer.

José Mourinho is a big admirer of the two German internationals and has already gathered information on both players.

Mourinho is keen to sign a left-footed centre-back, with Schlotterbeck and Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori among the names being monitored. 

As previously reported, the 26-year-old could leave the Westphalian giants for €50-60million due to a contractual release clause. 

Real Madrid are also planning to strengthen their midfield and attack this summer, with Nmecha a potential target. 

The 25-year-old made over 42 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring five goals and delivering three assists.
