SC Freiburg's Matanovic on the radar of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea

The Croatian international has caught the eye of England's elite after a barnstorming start to the 2026-27 campaign.

According to information from CaughtOffside, several sides from the Premier League are keeping tabs on SC Freiburg's Igor Matanovic.

In addition to Manchester United, fellow English superpowers Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested in the physically robust striker.

Both London clubs are said to have regularly scouted Matanovic in person during the early stages of the current season.

The Croatian international likely impressed with his performances, having scored six goals and provided two assists in seven games.

Matanovic himself is reportedly open to a move to the Premier League, with a reported €58million transfer fee is being discussed.

Matanovic only joined Freiburg last summer for €6.7million, and remains on a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
