Sancho return can't be discounted if Dortmund's El Mala pursuit fails

The English winger has fallen out of the rumour mill in recent weeks, but could yet make a third return to his former club Dortmund.

So far this summer, Borussia Dortmund's recent efforts to sign Said El Mala have repeatedly fallen on deaf ears at 1.FC Köln. 

With Köln holding out for a sum of €50 million, BVB's management has approached this pain threshold only gradually.

Even though Dortmund see El Mala as a potential game-changer, they seem reluctant to cough up the fee demanded by Effzeh.

Meanwhile, according to Ruhr Nachrichten, the return of alternative option Jadon Sancho was never really planned by BVB.

The impression is that Sancho may not longer have the qualities to be the game-changer he was during his first time at the club.

However, Sancho shouldn't be completely ruled out as a free transfer and could be a bargain if he were willing to forgo a portion of his salary.

Meanwhile, the latest report involving the Westphalians suggests they could launch a move for Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri.
