A new speakeasy has opened on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar celebrated the occasion with an intimate performance, signature cocktails made with his own spirits, caviar, and a rockin' good time for all!
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer lit up the stage at the private grand opening of Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar at Caesars Palace on Friday night. The legendary rocker delivered a high-energy performance that brought the packed crowd to its feet, making the celebration an unforgettable night of music, cocktails, and caviar.

The energy was high in Caesars Palace on Friday night as Hagar arrived at Caspian's Cocktails & Caviar to celebrate the grand opening of the new speakeasy.
Before entering the venue through the speakeasy's mysterious entrance, Hagar greeted fans and media for a fun-filled red-carpet experience. With a drink in hand, he was happy to explain how he likes to enjoy his caviar when asked by the media.
"The best way to do caviar is with Blanco tequila, or a really, not salty, you don’t put salt on the rim, a very limey margarita with a lot of lime in it but made with Blanco," he said. "And I like to do caviar bumps.”

Sammy Hagar Brought Some 80s Nostalgia To The Stage In Caspian's Cocktails & Caviar
After hitting the red carpet with enthusiastic energy, Hagar made his way to the stage for a memorable performance. With a bottle of tequila in hand, he grabbed his guitar and got down to business.
He performed a few nostalgic classics, "Finish What Ya Started," "Why Can't This Be Love," and "I Can't Drive 55," as well as a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's hit, "Simple Man."
The rock legend and Grammy-winning artist has been a trailblazing icon in rock music for more than five decades. From a solo career to being the frontman of Van Halen, and everything in between, Hagar has sold more than 50 million albums. Many of his songs have spanned the generations picking up new fans of all ages along the way.

'I Don't Even Know If They Changed The Speed Limit In Nevada'
Before performing the fan favorite, "I Can't Drive 55," Hagar shared some playful banter.
"When they changed the speed limit to 55, I don’t even know if they changed the speed limit in Nevada," he said. "I don’t even know, did they? Probably not. Even if they did, nobody f---ing did it."
At one point during his short but sweet set, Hagar explained, "We have a set list. I have never followed a set list in my life," signifying he was switching the original plan.
He also told his band between songs, "You guys are bringing it. And I’m getting drunk. So we talked about a set list. I would like to change things up if you don’t mind."

Sammy Hagar Is No Stranger To Sin City
One thing Hagar wanted to make sure his fans knew was that he's got a Vegas residence coming up later this year. He spoke about it on the red carpet and again while performing. Hagar will be gracing the stage for The Best of All Worlds Tour - The Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM select dates in April and May 2025.
He's also the owner of popular Mexican restaurant, Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Caspian's Cocktails & Caviar Recently Opened Inside Caesars Palace
Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar first opened its doors last month. Tucked behind a charming caviar lounge lies a vibrant haven for true rock enthusiasts, offering electrifying live music and expertly crafted cocktails. The vibe screams fun, mysterious, and memorable.
The caviar bar seats 50 guests, while the music lounge can accommodate more than 100.
The cocktail lounge is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily, with the kitchen closing nightly at 10 p.m. The live music speakeasy is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
