Ahead of Thursday's meeting with Lech Poznan, Simon Rolfes has ruled Eliesse Ben Seghir out after his latest setback at Bayer Leverkusen.

“Elias has a small muscle injury, nothing major. He will definitely be out this week,” Rolfes informed Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger this afternoon.

“I don't know exactly when he can return. With muscle injuries, I'm always cautious. But he won't be with us this week,” he added.

It comes as an added concern for the Rhineland club given the Moroccan will also likely miss next Sunday's clash with SC Freiburg.

Apart from other absences of Christian Kofane, Guéla Doué and Kennet Eichhorn, all the players were part of today's squad training session.

Montrell Culbreath was also back on the pitch, although Rolfes confirmed it's still a bit too early for him to feature in Poznan.
