A 23-year-old man is being urged to turn himself in to police after an adult was found dead inside a Richmond Hill home Saturday morning.

York Regional Police say officers were called just before 8:30 a.m. for a welfare check at a residence in the area of Gracedale Dr. and Shaftsbury Ave., near Elgin Mills Rd. and Yonge St.
Police say when officers arrived at the scene, they found a dead adult in the home.
The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.

Cops are now appealing to the public after investigators named Henry Ai, of Richmond Hill, as a murder suspect Saturday afternoon.
He is described as Asian, 6-foot-2, with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators say he was wearing a grey, long-sleeve sweater, white-collared shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Police are advising the public not to approach the suspect and to call 911 immediately.

According to police, the suspect is not believed to be in a vehicle and is known to use public transportation and ride-share services.
The Homicide Unit is also seeking assistance with obtaining any video surveillance footage in the area of Gracedale Dr., near Shaftsbury Ave. in Richmond Hill, between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
The investigation is ongoing, cops said.
