Jennifer Pedranti has broken her silence after one of her four sons was involved in a shocking incident.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star acknowledged the involvement of one of her children in a brush fire that occurred in the backyard hills of Ladera Ranch, California.

The fire spread to seven acres before the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) managed to get it under control. Jennifer Pedranti shares four sons and one daughter with her ex-husband, William Pedranti.

Jennifer Pedranti Confirms Rumors Of Son’s Part In Brush Fire Incident

Two days after the brush fire scared many in the Ladera Ranch area on Tuesday, July 7, the Bravolebrity addressed her son’s involvement in a remorseful social media post.  However, she did not reveal which of her sons was responsible.

“I would like to clear up the rumblings of my son having involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire. He and others were involved,” Jennifer began her Instagram Story statement. She stressed that she and William took the incident “very seriously,” writing:

“This behavior is unacceptable, and we are deeply sorry to our community. This is a tough learning moment for our son and our family.”

The reality TV star noted she and her ex-husband “were so thankful there was no property damage, and nobody was hurt.” She also thanked the fire and police officials for being “absolutely amazing and gave these boys a lesson they will never forget.”

Besides receiving a scolding from the authorities, Jennifer confirmed that her son and his accomplices were not arrested. Nonetheless, she vowed to teach her troublesome ward a lesson, noting “consequences for actions are being put into place.”

Part of her son’s punishment was to take a fire safety course, which Jennifer believed would ensure a brush fire incident never happens again. She reassured fans that her son would be punished, adding, “there are consequences within our family, and we will make sure our son learns from this accident.”

Jennifer’s statement came two days after the brush fire occurred in the area of Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way in Ladera Ranch. The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) covered the situation live on X, reporting that they received calls about the fire at 4:45 p.m.

The Brush Fire Spread To Seven Acres Before It Was Contained

In the first post, the OCFA implored the public to avoid the area and let them work safely. The plea for the public to stay clear of the danger zone continued in a separate post where they revealed the fire had spread to approximately three acres.

Air and ground resources were reported to be en route and on scene, with the OCFA sharing a video of their efforts to suppress the fire on Facebook. The clip captured the moment an aircraft was used to deploy fire retardant on the brush fire, with ground forces ensuring the blaze did not spread.

“Firefighters held a vegetation fire on Narrow Canyon Road in Ladera Ranch to just seven acres after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting the fire threatening nearby homes at 4:45 p.m.,” part of the post’s caption read. The OCFA confirmed there were no injuries or structural damage caused by the incident.

The Entertainer Has A Rocky Relationship With Her Ex-Husband

The reason behind the brush fire remains a mystery, as well as the identity of Jennifer’s son and his accomplices. As stated, she shares four sons, Harrison, Dawson, Greyson, and Dominic, and a daughter named Everleigh, with her ex-husband, William.

When Jennifer began appearing on season 18 of “RHOC,” she was in the middle of an eviction allegedly caused by her ex-husband William failing to pay the rent on time. BravoTV reported in 2024 that she slammed her ex for failing in his responsibilities as a co-parent.

According to the TV personality, she had a “truly non-existent” co-parenting relationship with William. Jennifer explained that she and her ex-husband had moved on, describing William and his partner as “very religious” people who don’t align with her public life.

Months after slamming her ex for their “non-existent” co-parenting relationship, The Blast shared in October 2024 that Jennifer had dragged William back to court. At the time, she served her ex-husband papers demanding his appearance in court.

The request stated William was to appear in court on October 21, 2024, for a thorough examination of his financial status. Jennifer stressed that she needed information about her ex’s finances to facilitate the collection of a monetary judgment he owed.

On that note, William was warned about the consequences of refusing the summons, including being found in contempt of court or getting arrested. The duo’s divorce agreement saw William agreeing to pay $4,674 in monthly child support and $1,735 in spousal support.
