Red Dead Redemption was another Rockstar Games title that made a special place in everyone’s hearts amidst the huge popularity of GTA. Released in 2010, this game serves as a successor to the 2004 hit Red Dead Revolver. Despite the game’s widespread popularity, it was only available on consoles like the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch.

That is why the shout for a PC port of this game was quite evident. And now some serious leaks have been surfacing around the internet, which might really surface the game on PC. And if that happens, the PC master race will again leave consoles behind for sure.

New Red Dead Redemption PC Port Leak Is Here

There have been many leaks surrounding the community regarding a potential PC port of Red Dead Redemption. A few days ago, the PlayStation Store almost confirmed the probability of a PC version of the game, as a listing in the store contained a tantalizing phrase: “Now on PC for the first time ever.” And surprisingly, the listing was about the 2010 RPG title.

Now there is another leak that has surfaced online, which has really made the fans hopeful about playing the game on their computers. Recently, TezFunz2, a well-known Rockstar Games insider, shared information on Twitter, stating Rockstar left a metadata file in the update last week with its new launcher update.

He also shared the official Steam app of Red Dead Redemption‘s PC version, as shown in Steam’s database. The data miner reshared the same image with this tweet that literally started the rumor of the PC port. He claimed that image to be a screenshot of the Rockstar Launcher site file that actually had the description of the game. Despite all these leaks, there haven’t been any words regarding this highly anticipated PC port from Rockstar Games itself.

Is the PC Master Race the Ultimate Medium for Gaming?

PlayStation vs. Xbox has been a long-standing battle now. Sometimes the former leaves the latter behind with its superior hardware, and sometimes vice versa happens with the Xbox Game Pass. However, both of the consoles boasted one aspect, and that is exclusivity. But right now, console companies seem to be slowly fading away from that route to expand their customer reach.

Amidst all of these noises, PC is again claiming its throne to be the best way possible to game these days. Yes, the CEO of PlayStation might think PS5 is more convenient than PC, but the way console games are jumping on PC is a testament to the system’s unmatched brilliance, for example, Helldivers 2, The Last of Us Part 1, and many more.

God of War Ragnarok and Until Dawn are also confirmed to come on to PCs as well. Also, PCs are way more extensive and flexible, which means they can be upgraded as per upcoming generations, unlike consoles. Needless to say, the graphical quality of a PC, in terms of resolution and frame rate, can never be matched by any console.
