Real Madrid target Diomandé to miss RB Leipzig training camp with sickness

The Ivorian winger has called in sick and is therefore unlikely to travel with RB Leipzig to their training camp.

Real Madrid-linked Yan Diomande officially reported in sick to RB Leipzig this morning, Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg reports.

As a result, Diomande is therefore not expected to travel with the Leipzig team to their training camp in Austria today. 

Furthermore, the Côte d'Ivoire international is not in the squad for today’s friendly against SC Verl which was already planned. 

As reported yesterday, Leipzig didn't respond to Real Madrid’s latest offer, which has since resulted in stalled negotiations.

The 19-year-old still wants to join Real Madrid and has mentally moved on from the Saxony-based club as reported. 

Real Madrid are pushing to reach a final agreement in the coming hours, allowing Diomande to travel to Madrid for his medical.
