RB Leipzig have identified Sunderland and Morocco winger Chemsdine Talbi as a possible replacement for Real Madrid-linked Yan Diomande, according to Foot Mercato.
Diomande has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital in recent weeks, although the deal has yet to be completed.
Nevertheless, Leipzig already appear to be preparing for a potential departure and reportedly see Talbi as a candidate to replace the 19-year-old.
The report claims that Leipzig rate Talbi highly, but there has been no contact between the German club and Sunderland, where the 21-year-old is under contract until 2030.
Talbi featured in five of Morocco's six matches at the World Cup. He played 85 minutes in their 0-2 quarter-final defeat to France.
