Prince Harry proved he hasn’t lost his signature sense of humor, joking in a recent podcast interview that he has “nothing really happening on top” while discussing his thinning hairline.

During the candid conversation, the Duke also opened up about more personal matters, including the television shows he watches and the funny nickname he was given at school because of his hair.

Harry is understandably still on a high after getting his wish of reuniting with his estranged father, King Charles.

Prince Harry still has his easygoing, jolly-good personality and appears more than capable of taking and giving a joke.

During a recent appearance on the “Joe Marler Will See You Now” podcast, the father of two took a playful jab at his thinning hair, admitting that he “tries not to look” too closely in the mirror these days.

The funny moment occurred when the host asked Harry about his “grooming routine,” prompting him to note that there’s “nothing really happening on top.” He therefore keeps things simple with the basics: “sh-t, shower, and shave.”

He added that he trims his beard every five or six days to keep it “a little bit tidy.”

“I get a haircut; otherwise I try not to look at what’s happening,” he joked. “No. Um, and then, I don’t think…we don’t need to go there.”

Harry’s conversation with the former England rugby star was one of his most candid interviews in recent times.

He also discussed more personal topics, including why he doesn’t subscribe to people calling him a redhead because of his hair color. Instead, he considers it more of a “sunset auburn” shade.

“What do people most often get wrong about you?” the host asked, to which Harry replied, “That I’m not ginger.”

“People think I’m ginger, but I’m more sort of like sunset… auburn,” he said, before adding, “I don’t know why that’s funny.”

The Duke also revealed that he was “bullied” frequently at school and called “carrot top,” an admission that visibly moved Marler.

Harry inherited his hair color from Princess Diana’s side of the family, and has since passed it on to his young children, Archie and Lilibet.

Prince Harry Previously Mocked William’s Hair Loss

This isn’t the first time the royal family’s famous genes have been the subject of lighthearted teasing. Hair loss has been a recurring joke between the Sussex and Wales brothers for years.

In his blockbuster 2023 memoir, “Spare,” Harry mocked William’s “advanced” hair loss as he recalled being shocked by his brother’s appearance at the 2021 funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip.

“I looked at Willy, really looked at him, maybe for the first time since we were boys. I took it all in: his familiar scowl, which had always been his default in dealings with me; his alarming baldness, more advanced than my own; his famous resemblance to Mummy, which was fading with time,” Harry wrote.

He later explained during a 2023 interview on “60 Minutes” that his intentions were somewhat noble and that he didn’t write the passage to “hurt” his family.

“I don’t see it as cutting at all. My brother and I love each other. I love him deeply,” he claimed. “There has been a lot of pain between the two of us… None of anything I’ve written… is ever intended to hurt my family.

Harry proved relatable as he revealed elsewhere in the podcast that his favorite “trashy” television show is “Love Island.”

He was also aware of the 2014 reality show “I Wanna Marry ‘Harry,’” in which several women competed for the chance to date a Prince Harry lookalike.

Marler then put him on the spot, asking, “If you could swap lives with one other famous Harry, just for one day, who would you choose out of Harry Styles, [England soccer captain] Harry Kane, or Harry Potter?”

Harry said he would prefer to be “Kane, on a winning day.”

“You don’t want to be Kane on a losing day, do you?” he added, referring to the footballer.

When asked about England’s chances of winning the World Cup, Harry responded, “I think it’s coming home. Not going to be easy, never is.”

Prince Harry Reunites His Children With King Charles

The interview comes after Harry finally reunited with King Charles at Highgrove, alongside his wife and children, following weeks of tension over his security arrangements.

He is said to be “buoyed” and “really energized” that the meeting happened and that his children were able to see their grandfather again.

Meanwhile, Charles has faced criticism for allowing the reunion despite the harsh comments Harry and Meghan have made about the royal family since stepping down from their senior royal roles.

However, a palace source reportedly said, “blood is blood,” when asked about the private meeting, per the Daily Mail.

Addressing the possibility that both sides could extend an olive branch and repair their relationship, the insider added, “Every journey of a thousand miles begins with one footstep.”
