The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently offered followers a rare look at their family’s new life in the British countryside, sharing footage of outdoor walks, fishing trips and quiet moments with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, the couple’s relaxed posture suggests they are embracing their new surroundings, while Harry’s noticeably enthusiastic reaction may reveal just how much he missed home.

Stanton analyzed the family footage on behalf of Betfair Casino and concluded that Harry appears especially comfortable after returning to the country where he was raised. “In terms of their posture, they both seem incredibly chilled and appear to have taken to country life very well,” he said.

“Meghan’s body language suggests that she feels very comfortable in the environment, while Harry seems completely in his element being back in the lifestyle he grew up with,” he added. “There’s a real lack of tension in both of them, and their movements and overall posture appear very natural and unguarded.”

The expert’s interpretation suggests the couple did not appear overly aware of the camera or concerned about presenting a carefully controlled image. Instead, Stanton believes their movements reflected familiarity as they spent time outdoors with their children.

One of the most revealing moments, according to Stanton, featured Harry fishing with his family. The outdoor activity appeared to bring out a particularly joyful reaction from the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex.

“When Harry was fishing, you could really see that come through in his body language. He appeared genuinely overjoyed to be back home, with a huge, beaming smile throughout,” he said. “His posture was very relaxed, and there was nothing particularly rigid or controlled about the way he was carrying himself. That’s a good indicator that someone is genuinely enjoying their surroundings rather than simply putting on a performance for the cameras.”

Harry has frequently discussed the importance of the outdoors throughout his public life, particularly through his work involving conservation, mental health, and wounded veterans. Stanton did not see obvious signs that Meghan was struggling with the transition back to the United Kingdom. “The same can be said for Meghan, whose relaxed posture and overall demeanor suggest she is also feeling very comfortable,” he said. “Neither of them appears to be displaying any obvious signs of stress or discomfort, and there’s a real sense of ease between them.”

The footage showed Harry and Meghan walking hand in hand through a wooded area, while other clips featured Archie and Lilibet enjoying several outdoor activities. The children were filmed fishing, riding a bicycle, and splashing through puddles in rain boots. The family’s dogs also appeared in the montage.
