In a release later on Aug. 22, police said a resident of the area reported that pills had been found scattered in a suspicious manner at Blue Willow Park, which is located southeast of the intersection of Innes and Navan roads.

Officers located pills of various sizes and colours scattered near bushes and trees, on the grass and concealed inside acorns, the release said.

Police advised parents, caregivers and pet owners visiting to exercise caution and to closely monitor children and animals while in the area.
