A 64-year-old Ottawa man was declared dead in hospital after a single-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck at Kaladar, the Ontario Provincial Police said.

A news release on July 25 said the crash occurred had occurred early the previous afternoon near the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 7.

Highway 41 was closed in both directions for approximately four hours while police investigated the crash.
