How many more fall before the OHL trade deadline Friday at noon remains to be seen.
Sent to the Peterborough Petes with about 24 hours of wheelin’ and dealin’ time left on the clock was overage winger Brady Stonehouse, who was in his fourth season with the 67’s.
We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
In return, the 67’s received a fourth-round pick in 2027 that originally belonged to Sudbury and the Petes’ sixth-round pick in 2028.

Stonehouse, a product of Blenheim, Ont., had 80 goals, 146 points and 195 penalty minutes in 218 games for the Barber Poles.
He also recorded four goals and nine points in 25 playoff games.
“We thank Brady for the competitiveness and leadership he has brought to our team over the past four seasons,” 67’s general manager James Boyd said. “We wish him nothing but the best as he continues on his hockey journey.”
Stonehouse signed with the Edmonton Oilers as an undrafted free agent on October 5, 2023.

World Juniors: A 12-day gift over the Christmas season
The 67’s lost 3-1 to the Brampton Steelheads at TD Place on Wednesday, leaving them with 36 points (14-16-8). The only team they’re ahead of in the East Division is the Petes, who have 22 points.
Boyd is expected to move captain Luca Pinelli as he continues to “restock the cupboards” before the deadline.
The 67’s are now down to the limit of overagers with goalie Collin MacKenzie, forward Will Gerrior and defenceman Matthew Mayich.
Unless there’s a delayed announcement on the way, those three will play out the season as the deadline for trading overagers was Thursday at noon.
