Ottawa 67's address all positions and grab two local players in OHL draft

The Ottawa 67’s walked away with nine forwards, three defencemen and two goalies from the Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection held at Kingston’s Slush Puppie Place over the weekend.

They also added two locally grown products with a late-round picks: Marcus Smolcic, a goalie with the Ottawa Valley Titans; and winger Cameron Sheppard, who’s from Stittsville and starred with the Arnprior Packers Jr. B’s last season.

The following is a breakdown of the 67’s haul from the draft of eligible 15- and 16-year-old players.
