The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a shooting incident in the Vankleek Hill area.
Police responded to a residence on Highway 34, near Main Street West, at about 1:30 a.m. on reports that multiple shots had been fired at parked vehicles.
The person or persons fled westbound in a back or dark vehicle on County Road 10.

There were no injuries reported and investigators believe it was a targeted incident, with no imminent risk to public safety.
Hawkesbury OPP officers are continuing the investigation with assistance from the OPP forensic identification services unit.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact the Hawkesbury detachment at 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident E241188660. Anonymous tips can be made to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
