A 31-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of March and Diamondview road in the far western rural outskirts of Ottawa on Friday evening.

The collision also resulted in serious injuries for another woman, 37. The Ottawa Police Service said she was airlifted to hospital.

Police said they are seeking witnesses to the collision, which occurred just before 6 p.m.

“Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and has not yet spoken to police,” an OPS release said.
