Eintracht Frankfurt have officially announced that Julian Etse has signed his first professional contract at the Hessen club.

The center-back only joined from SSV Ulm a few weeks ago and has since made four full 90-minute appearances for Frankfurt's reserves.

Despite being just 20 years old, the defender hasn't looked out of place in the Regionalliga, putting in impressive displays.

“Julian has made tremendous progress in recent months,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung after the deal was confirmed.

"His height, robustness, and mentality make him an exciting player for the center-back position.

"This professional contract provides the foundation for Julian to continue developing at a high level.

"He will continue to play an important role in our U21 team, regularly gaining valuable experience that will be crucial for his future.

“We will closely support him and give him the opportunity to gradually adapt to the level and demands of professional football,” he added.
