Official: Hennes Behrens joins FC Augsburg from TSG Hoffenheim

The full-back impressed while on loan at Heidenheim last season, where he produced a goal and two assists in 16 games.

Hennes Behrens is transferring from TSG Hoffenheim to fellow Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, both clubs have confirmed.

The talented left-back has put pen to paper on a contract with the Fuggerstädter club which is set to run until 2031.

The 21-year-old impressed greatly during the second half of last season while on loan at 1.FC Heidenheim who were ultimately relegated.

It's believed the transfer fee paid by the Bavarians will be in the region of €3.5million, with a further €1million in bonuses.

"At his young age, he already brings valuable Bundesliga experience and has proven his qualities at this level.

"With his physique and footballing abilities, he fits in very well with our team,” says FCA sporting director Benni Weber.
