Brajan Gruda will remain at RB Leipzig going into the 2026-27 season after all parties reached an agreement earlier this afternoon.

As the club officially announced, RB Leipzig and Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed to extend the loan of the 22-year-old talent.

Furthermore, the deal includes an obligation to buy, which, according to reports, will be triggered after just a few competitive matches.

If this occurs, the Saxony-based outfit who finished third in the Bundesliga last campaign, will pay Brighton between €25 and €30million.

“We are delighted that Brajan will also be playing for RB Leipzig next season,” said RBL sporting director Marcel Schäfer.

"In his first few months with us, he has shown what qualities he brings and how well his profile fits our style of play.

"Brajan is technically gifted, creative, has great pace, and enriches our attack with his abilities in the final third.
