Nostradamus, Baba Vanga predict catastrophic, apocalyptic-like events for 2025

Mystics Nostradamus and Baba Vanga have long made their predictions for 2025.

And, as in years past, their prophecies haven’t been great. But that has never stopped people from seeking answers to future questions and issues.

In the past, Nostradamus has been credited with predicting the Great Fire of London, Hitler’s rise to power, the attacks of 9/11, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the powerful earthquake that hit Japan on Jan. 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, Vanga, the blind seer also known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, has foretold such memorable events as the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl, Brexit, and the rise of Islamic State, as well as the fall of New York City’s Twin Towers.

According to Nostradamus, who isn’t referred to as the “prophet of doom” for nothing, it will be another bleak year with sprinkles of hope.

Plague and more war

Nostradamus wrote that England will face “cruel wars” and an “ancient plague” that will be “worse than enemies.”

That coincides with Baba Vanga’s insistence that a “devastating disaster” would have serious consequences in Europe, which may experience serious inner strife, resulting in a reduction in population.

Yes, the details are vague, but it does raise concerns about internal conflict and the long-term effects.

Explosions high above

Nostradamus predicted that in the dark days to come, the trajectory of a gigantic asteroid will get dangerously close to colliding with Earth.

“From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, A harbinger of fate, the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance, The fate of the Earth, a second chance,” he wrote.

Growth and advancement of telepathy

Baba Vanga predicted humans could become telepathic by 2025, which could forever change how people interact with one another.

End to the Russia-Ukraine war

It’s not all bad. Nostradamus predicted that the financial ruin and depleted resources could be what puts a pin in an ongoing armed conflict, which many assume is the current war between Russia and Ukraine.

He wrote: “Through long war all the army exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come to coin leather, Gallic brass, and the crescent sign of the Moon.”

The mentions of Gallic brass and the crescent sign of the Moon suggests the French and/or Turks, allies of Ukraine, could be doing the intervening.

Natural disasters

The oracle noted in one passage: “Garden of the world near the new city, In the path of the hollow mountains: It will be seized and plunged into the Tub, Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur.”

Some believe the “garden of the world” is the Amazon rainforest, while flooding and volcanic activity could refer to the other more terrifying tidbits.

While there are no active volcanoes in the Amazon, Nevado Mismi in the Peruvian Andes feeds the Ucayali-Apurímac river system, the main (and, notably, most distant) source of the Amazon River.

If you are to believe Baba Vanga’s prediction, it could be much, much worse.

For 2025, she noted a string of catastrophes might begin, which she called the “beginning of the apocalypse.”

And while humanity would not be entirely exterminated, life-altering changes worldwide could be the result.
