Brazilian nanny Juliana Peres Magalhaes, 24, is charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of a kinky sex seeker who she alleges killed her lover’s wife.
Now, she’s moaning to her “mommy” about conditions in a Fairfax County, Virginia jail where she’s being held while awaiting trial.
“I am tired of this place, this situation,” Magalhaes wrote in a recent e-mail, according to the Washington Post.
“I am unhappy, and nothing makes me happy. I just want to get out of here and go back home to be with you guys. We will be together soon, with God’s grace, mommy.”
Magalhaes was an au pair working for IRS investigator Brendan Banfield, 39, and his wife Christine. Banfield and the nanny were engaged in a torrid affair behind the wife’s back in a sprawling Virginia mansion.

Cops say the nanny wanted the wife out of the picture.
Allegedly posing as Christine Banfield, the bawdy Brazilian met Joseph Ryan on a fetish website. She eventually lured the kink seeker to the manor, police say.
On Feb, 24, 2023, investigators allege Magalhaes encouraged Ryan to stab Banfield’s naked wife to death. At the same time, the nanny walked into the room with her clandestine lover.
Brendan Banfield then allegedly shot at Ryan, wounding him. As reported by the Washington Post, police say Magalhaes grabbed her own gun and delivered the fatal bullets to the thrill-seeker.
The nanny claimed self-defence but prosecutors are telling a different tale.
The say the whole bloodbath was a ruse manufactured by Magalhaes. The object was to get rid of Christine and clear the way for her to be the next Mrs. Banfield. Ryan was a patsy.

Still, investigators claim there remain unanswered questions. Among them: Who created the profile for Christine — listed as Annastasia9 — on the raunchy website?
On the day of the killings, the nanny left the mansion just before 7 a.m. with the Banfield’s young child for a day at the zoo. She returned after allegedly “forgetting” their lunches.
As for love rat Brandon, detectives say he left the house at 7:10 a.m. and waited in the parking lot of a neighbourhood McDonald’s. The nanny rang her paramour around 7:37 a.m.
The mistress and sugar daddy then entered the mansion together. Cops note that the hubby didn’t fire his gun until Ryan was allegedly stabbing his wife.
The nanny then oddly retrieved her own pistol to finish him off.

Ten minutes after Ryan was dead, the couple called 911.
“That is not what a person in that situation would do unless they were trying to cover something up,” Deputy Commonwealth Attorney Kelsey Gill said in December.
So far, Brendan Banfield has not been charged. He pleaded the Fifth Amendment (the right against self-incrimination). Eighteen months later, no one was been charged in Christine Banfield’s death.
Magalhaes is only charged — so far — in Ryan’s shooting death.
Her mother in Brazil maintains that Magalhaes is innocent. She calls her embattled daughter a “little rare jewel.”
“I pray for the prosecutors and the judge to understand who is guilty in this case because it is not Juliana,” she said.
