Although Bayern Munich's pre-season training camp is on the horizon, Jamal Musiala will miss out having undergone another foot surgery.

However, Kicker.de have outlined his return to play schedule, with Musiala expected to resume individual training on the pitch from 31 July.

While the team departs first for a training camp at Tegernsee and then on their Asian tour, the attacking star will remain at Säbener Straße.

Musiala is completing his rehabilitation program and will be gradually reintegrated into training after the team's return on 8 August.

According to the sports magazine, Musiala, with Vincent Kompany, decided to have the metal plate removed from his injured foot.

The procedure would have been necessary anyway; now, a longer forced break during the current season is to be avoided.

TZ München adds that Bayern does not want to take any unnecessary risks – they hope to have him fit for the Supercup on 22 August.
