Ibrahim Maza has commented on reports suggesting Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing him.
Speaking in an interview with RTL/Sky, the 20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen gem expressed his pride at being linked with the French giants, naming PSG among Europe's elite clubs alongside Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal.
“Of course, it would be a huge dream to play for such a big club one day,” Maza said.
“I think we all know what a big club Paris is and that they are among the best in the world, alongside Real Madrid, Barca and Arsenal.
"Being able to play for a club like that is something I'm working towards, just like many other footballers.”
The youngster also opened up about his ambitious personal goals.
“I definitely want to win the Champions League one day. That's a goal, of course. And my dream is to become one of the best players in the world and win the Ballon d'Or. That's what I'm working towards,” he said.
According to reports, Leverkusen are hoping to hold on to Maza for a little longer and are working on a contract extension for the attacking midfielder, whose current deal already runs until 2030.
The 20-year-old has made an impressive start to the season, racking up four goals and three assists in 12 games.
He joined Leverkusen from Hertha BSC for a fee of €12 million in 2025.
