Miley Cyrus is seen with Maxx Morando after being sued over 'Flowers'

Miley Cyrus enjoyed a night out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, making a rare public appearance with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando. The couple were spotted attending a Future Islands concert at the Shrine Auditorium, marking one of their few outings together.

Legal issues with recent hit

Their relaxed night out comes at a time when Miley is dealing with a legal issue involving her 2023 Grammy-winning hit, "Flowers."

Tempo Music Investments has filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that parts of "Flowers" were lifted from Bruno Mars' 2012 single "When I Was Your Man."

The suit alleges similarities in the melody, chorus, and chord progression between the two songs, though Bruno Mars himself is not directly involved in the legal action.

Cyrus, however, continues to ride high on her recent success. Earlier this year, she won her first Grammy awards for "Flowers," taking home trophies for both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

"This award is amazing, but I really hope that it doesn't change anything, because my life was beautiful yesterday," Cyrus said.

"Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular, so please don't think that this is important."

The win was a major achievement, beating out heavyweights such as Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, and further cementing her status as one of pop music's biggest stars.
