The Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing a sweet keepsake that referenced her husband during a relaxed outing with longtime friend Kelly McKee Zajfen.

While Harry was away at the WellChild Awards, Meghan was back home enjoying an outing with longtime friend Kelly McKee Zajfen.

A glimpse of the visit Zajfen shared on Instagram included a photo of Meghan wearing a “PH 40” baseball cap while enjoying wine and playing mahjong.

The cap was originally made for Harry’s 40th birthday in 2024, when Meghan customized hats for her husband and his friends. She later showed them on “With Love, Meghan,” explaining that they were among the items she made for the celebration.

Later, Meghan took to her Instagram page to share snapshots of Harry from the WellChild Awards.

Meghan set the clip to Sam Garrett’s song “I Believe” and highlighted lyrics that reassure listeners they are loved and brave.

At the September 21 ceremony in London, Harry delivered a speech celebrating the children and families connected to the charity.

Prince Harry’s appearance at the WellChild Awards came as no surprise, given his longstanding association with the nonprofit.

He has been WellChild’s patron since 2007 and has attended numerous editions of its annual awards.

“It is always a privilege to be part of the WellChild Awards and to meet the extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals whose courage and determination inspire us all,” the prince said in a statement.

He added, “These Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that impact, but above all to celebrate the incredible people at the heart of it. Their stories are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through compassion, connection and community.”

Harry And Meghan’s UK Return Leaves Their Royal Status Unchanged

Harry’s return to public outings in the UK comes amid his and his wife’s decision to move back after years in America.

Their return did not restore their former roles as working royals, which they left when they first moved away.

On September 7, a letter issued by the Lord Chamberlain under King Charles’ direction reiterated that Harry and Meghan remain private citizens and are no longer working members of the Royal Family.

Reuters reported that the letter also said their charitable activities are carried out privately and that their His and Her Royal Highness styles remain unused.

Calls To Strip Harry And Meghan Of Their Titles Resurface

Since Harry and Meghan stepped back as senior working royals in 2020, public calls to remove their royal titles have resurfaced repeatedly.

Some have argued that the couple’s decision to leave the UK showed they no longer wanted to be associated with the Royal Family and should therefore no longer retain their titles.

Those calls have resurfaced following the couple’s return to the UK. Some critics have questioned whether the move could see them gradually resume aspects of the royal life they previously left behind.

However, as of today, Harry and Meghan have not been stripped of their titles. The main change is that they no longer use the HRH style, as agreed when they stepped back from royal duties. They still retain the titles Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
