Prince Harry‘s wish to have his family with him for his UK visit might see the light of day.

The Duke of Sussex will reportedly not end his 10-day trip to the United Kingdom alone because his wife and kids will join him in his home country, but they may not be seen during his appearances.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exited the United Kingdom alongside Prince Archie in 2020, citing a toxic press and lack of protection as their reason for leaving their duty as senior members of the royal family.

Harry’s desire to bring his children closer to his culture and his family may finally be coming to fruition because his wife and kids will be joining him in London for the rest of his trip.

The Duke of Sussex headed to London right after the family’s vacation in Europe, and it was revealed he would be coming alone due to the security situation.

However, Meghan and their children will keep out of the spotlight during their visit, leaving Harry to continue the rest of their public appearances. Meghan will not appear at the Invictus Games event on July 10, in addition to her absence at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in West London on July 8.

As noted by The Telegraph, if a meeting with King Charles happens, it will mark the second time Harry’s children will be spending time in Britain since 2022, when they attended Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

King Charles Was Elated To See Prince Archie And Princess Lilibet In 2022

When the trip happened about four years ago, which was two years after Harry and Meghan left the United Kingdom behind, Charles’ joy reportedly knew no bounds. As shared by PEOPLE, the king, who was then a prince, was reportedly delighted to meet his granddaughter for the first time. According to an insider:

“It was very special to have some time with him. He hadn’t met Lilibet, his granddaughter, and so to meet her for the first time was very emotional — it was a wonderful thing.”

The Netflix personality expressed in an interview last year that he was ready to put all the painful drama behind him and pursue reconciliation with the rest of his family.

In the same vein, he voiced his refusal to restore his access to taxpayer-funded security, declaring that it would hinder him from bringing his kids and wife to the country due to fear of attacks.

Archie had enjoyed some time with his grandfather, as he was born in the UK a year before his parents opted out of their status as working royals and left royal life for California.

The Netflix producer and his father have reportedly engaged in several conversations bordering on meeting Archie and Lilibet, and things looked positive on the King’s end. However, the decision by the palace to revoke the royal residence invitation threw a spanner in the works.

As stated by The Blast, after discussing the possibility of having Meghan and the kids over in the UK this week, he focused his energy on trying to beef up security around him just in case they do come in. The “Spare” author reportedly tried to find more private security for the extra layer of safety around his loved ones.

As for the revoked offer on the accommodation, Harry was left disappointed as sources close to him claimed that the intention behind the invitation was suspicious from the start.

However, the palace is defending its actions, insisting that the offer was withdrawn because they failed to get a response from Harry within the designated deadline.

While the King reportedly extended the deadline to make everyone happy, the matter ultimately resulted in Harry losing his spot at a royal residence.

Much hype has definitely surrounded Harry’s visit to his home country; however, not so much has been fully explored about the possibility of a reconciliation between the prince and his big brother.
