Megan Thee Stallion breaks up with Klay Thompson, accuses him of cheating

Megan Thee Stallion needs a “real break” after calling it quits with Klay Thompson after nearly one year of dating.

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward,” Megan told Page Six in a statement.

“I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

The “Mamushi” rapper announced the breakup news after she outed “cheating” Klay Thompson with a scathing social media post on Saturday.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,'” she wrote.

“Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????”

“Bitch I need a REAL break after this one.. bye y’all,” she closed.

The couple appeared to be in good spirits just months ago.

In February, the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker revealed the basketball star spent a pretty penny on lavish gifts — which included a tropical getaway and a $200k Bentley — for her 31st birthday.

In a carousel of photos shared via Instagram, Megan showed a few of their memories from their vacation to the British Virgin Islands.

“Aw man I was not ready for this birthday trip to be over 🥹 A time was definitely had🏝️🍹🥳 THANK YOU BABY⚓️,” she captioned the Instagram post at the time.

The post has since been removed from her Instagram account.

In October, the couple teased that they had taken the next step in their relationship by purchasing a home together.

Megan was first linked to the Dallas Mavericks star in July after eagle eyed fans noticed she subtly featured Thompson in the background of one of her sexy social media snaps.

Later that month, Megan gushed to Page Six about her “kind” beau as the pair made their red carpet debut at the rapper’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala

“I have never dated somebody so kind,” she told us of her romance.

“This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy. I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
