The final accounting report filed by Matthew Perry's executor has been signed off on by a Los Angeles judge.
A hearing took place on December 27 in Los Angeles Superior Court according to court documents obtained by In Touch, moving Perry's beneficiaries one step closer to getting their inheritance.
The accounting report was filed by Perry's longtime business manager, Lisa Ferguson, as part of his probate case. Lisa and Robin Suzan, the ex-wife of actor Mike Myers, were chosen by Matthew to be the executors of his will, with the judge stating there was "sufficient evidence" to grant the requests.
The court also approved Lisa being paid $28,000 for her legal fees and that she be allowed to proceed with "distribution per will."
Previous reports stated that Perry created a will in 2009, along with The Alvy Singer Living Trust, which is where he placed a majority of his assets.
Perry's personal property, which was not already in the trust, was listed at $1 million. The rest of his property, including his California mansion, were likely placed in the trust during his lifetime.
All claims have been resolved
Lisa filed the final report in October, telling the courts that all debts had been handled. She stated that Perry's assets not in trust increased to $1,596,914.46 during her time as executor.
"The estate is solvent," she wrote, while also revealing that demands for payments were made by third parties but had been resolved without the need for the court to intervene.
"An extension for filing the federal estate tax return has been timely filed and Petitioner has made sufficient payments for the estate taxes estimated to be due. Petitioner will pay any additional estate taxes determined to be due, in her capacity as Trustee of the Alvy Singer Living Trust dated June 2, 1999, as amended," the report noted.
The beneficiaries of Matthew's trust are his father, John Perry, his mother, Suzanne Morrison, his ex-girlfriend Rachel Dunn, half-sister Emily Morrison, half-sister Caitlin Morrison, half-sister Madeline Morrison, half-sister Maria Perry and William Morrison.
Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home after an apparent drowning on October 28, 2023.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office ruled that he died from "acute effects of ketamine." He was 54 at the time.
