On Saturday news leaked that AC Milan were interested in signing Markus Krösche, and now things could move quickly.

According to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, the Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director has reached an agreement with Milan.

Furthermore, Krösche is reportedly set to take on the role of Head of Football alongside his colleague Timmo Hardung.

The Rossoneri now need to agree on a transfer fee with Eintracht Frankfurt, as Krösche's release clause isn't active again until 2027.

A major overhaul is taking place in Milan this summer with several confirmed dismissals, while Rúben Amorim will be the new coach.
