Johan Manzambi has admitted he's unsure whether he will play for SC Freiburg again.

Rounding off an impressive season with SC Freiburg, Johan Manzambi was one of the bright spots for the Bundesliga side in their 0-3 Europa League final defeat to Aston Villa earlier this week.

When asked by Bild if that was his last game for Freiburg, the 20-year-old left his future completely open.

“I honestly don’t know. My contract runs until 2030. We’ll see,” said Manzambi, who will represent Switzerland at the World Cup.

“For now, I need to focus on the World Cup. Then I’ll see what happens next.”

Manzambi made 47 appearances for Freiburg in the 2025/26 season, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists.
