Man posing as spiritual healer sought after Midtown sex assault: Cops

Toronto Police are appealing to the public for information regarding a man who posed as a spiritual healer during an alleged sex assault last week.

Police said officers were called to the Eglinton Ave. E. and Yonge St. area last Friday, where it was reported that a man approached the victim on the road, asking for help finding an address.

He arranged to perform a reading and proceeded to conduct the service, but during the service he allegedly sexually assaulted the victim.

Police describe the suspect as about 50 to 60 years old with a medium build, long black/grey hair in a black do-rag and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a multi-colour long-sleeve shirt, a brown jacket, blue jeans and black dress shoes.
