Taking to TikTok on Sunday, Mallory asked fans for advice regarding her dead mom's ashes.
The ventriloquist, wielding her mom's popular sock puppet, Lamb Chop, noted that she plans to move to Portugal and would like to take her mother's ashes.
In the video, she asked, "What do I do with my late mom's ashes? "This prompted Lamb Chop to question, "What are you talking about?"
Mallory replied, "Well, you are sitting on Shari right now." The shocked sock puppet exclaimed, "Jesus!"
"It's okay," Mallory said. "Mom has been in my closet in ash form in this ratty pine box for the last 26 years."

She continued: "We are moving to Portugal, and I don't want to take the ratty pine box. I do want to take my mom. I know I can get her crushed into a diamond. I can put her into a vial and wear it... I could probably get her a prettier urn. I probably should have done this before, but grief takes its time."
In the comments, fans offered various suggestions, with one person telling Mallory to get her ashes "pressed into a Lamb chop-shaped diamond."
Another said, "Have her ashes mixed up into a painting. Maybe a painting of her or her favorite place."

The Ventriloquist Opened Up About Her TikTok Fans
After spending some time on the social media app, Mallory has come to terms with why her fans have fallen in love with the iconic character.
"I think a lot of my TikTok fan base is people who would just like to have a few moments of peace and happiness," she shared. "The world's a pretty scary place and I think Mom always made people feel good, feel safe, when their lives were scary as children. Now, Lamb Chop and I get to continue on with that tradition."

"Lamb Chop really has her own very strong personality. I don't have to worry about what she's going to say. She's just funny," she added. "I do understand that I'm involved in this, but Lamb Chop is her own personality. She is funny and sweet and sassy."

How Mallory Lewis Took After Her Mother's Iconic Role
Despite spending over half as much time with Lamb Chop as her mother did, Mallory never planned to become a ventriloquist.
"I did not want to be a ventriloquist," she told the outlet. "I did not want to be an entertainer. I was my mom's head writer, and I was her producer. And when she died, I kept getting letters and some early emails that asked, 'Is Lamb Chop dead too?'"
Seeing how much love Lamb Chop was still receiving even after her mother's passing, she decided it was best to take over for her mother, with the blessing of her husband.
"I couldn't let Lamb Chop also be dead. So I was going around the country, accepting posthumous awards for my mom, and I was pregnant and postpartum, and my now ex-husband asked me, 'Do you want to do this?' And so, I gave it a try and it turned out I did."

She Revealed Lamb Chop Helps Her Get Perks
While being on TikTok and other social media platforms has helped her see how much the character is loved, one particular incident made this even more glaring.
"My husband and I just got back from the British Virgin Islands and I met a guy on a scuba boat," Mallory reflected.
"It turns out that he runs Necker Island, which is Richard Branson's private island. So I said to him. Wow. 'What does that cost?' And he's like, '$150,000 a day.' I'm like, well guess I'm never gonna see that."
After giving up on the possibility of seeing the island, bringing Lamb Chop into the conversation just as a passing comment changed everything and got her in for free.
Mallory added, "Ten minutes later in the conversation, I brought up Lamb Chop and he was a huge Lamb Chop fan. so we got a beautiful three-hour tour of Necker Island."
