“Love Island USA” star Jen Terry said Kayda Bosse’s shade toward Ariana Madix at the Season 8 reunion “wasn’t a big deal” in the moment.
Terry, who rose to fame as a bombshell on “Love Island USA” Season 8 this summer, spoke exclusively to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” about a viral moment between Bosse and Madix at the reunion.
“I don’t know if that [shade] was towards [Madix],” Terry, 23, told us. “That wasn’t a big deal in person.”
While Terry did not watch the reunion back, she said she did see the clip in question.
The model said she “wouldn’t expect that” type of behavior from Bosse, believing the moment was “clipped” to look like she was shading Madix.
“But I don’t know,” Terry admitted.
The awkward moment came amid a tense conversation between Casa Amor bombshell Jaiden Bacciocco and Caleb McDaniel, both of whom left Season 8 after their fellow Islanders voted them the least compatible couple.
After leaving the villa, Bacciocco and McDaniel attempted to explore their relationship in the outside world, but the distance and their busy schedules pushed them apart.
Despite receiving mixed signals from McDaniel, Bacciocco admitted during the reunion that they hooked up twice — once in the hotel room in Fiji and again in the Hamptons.

Bosse, for her part, faced backlash from fans when she asked why Bacciocco would “f–k” McDaniel again if she wasn’t happy with how he was treating her, prompting Madix to call Bosse out for her “harsh” words.
“It’s really not that harsh, babe,” Bosse fired back.
It wasn’t long before fans put Bosse on blast for her snide remark.
“Does she not know WHO Ariana Madix is???” one viewer wrote on X.
Another person said, “If Ariana Madix herself has to step in and say your comment is harsh, [you’re definitely] in the wrong, and Kayda was very, very weird for that.”
Before nabbing the “Love Island USA” hosting gig, Madix spent more than a decade on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules.” She propelled to new heights of fame after her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, infamously cheated on her with her with their mutual close friend, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
Madix, however, assured fans that there is no bad blood between her and the former Islander.
“She’s cool and we are good,” she wrote in the comments section of an Aug. 31 Instagram post. “I took no offense. It’s all good ❤️.”
